The airport offers short and long term parking in garages next to the terminal building and economy parking on surface lots slightly further away. Shuttle bus routes service the economy lots and the terminal for convenient transfer between the two.
Transfers at San Antonio Airport
Rental Cars – Car rental companies at San Antonio Airport have their offices/desks in the Consolidated Car Rental Facility located opposite Terminal B. There is a Sky Bridge connecting the two buildings on the Mezzanine level of Terminal B.
Follow the instructions from the rental car company on where and how to return the vehicle. Remember to collect all personal belongings from the car before returning it.
Public Transportation Buses – VIA, the local public transportation agency, provides bus route 5 from downtown San Antonio to the airport. Trains – The airport does not have a train station. To transfer from San Antonio train station to the airport a taxi is the quickest and easiest way. Greyhound – The airport does not have a Greyhound station. Bus route 5 stops approximately 5-10 minutes from the Greyhound station and it provides transfer to the airport.
